Writers' Lab Explained
The Writers' Lab is a workshop for aspiring writers, where you can post short works of non-fiction, comment on and rate stories, and see the BAD IDEA editorial process laid bare.
SHOW AND TELL
Want to submit short non-fiction stories to an audience of your peers for scrutiny? BAD IDEA's Show and Tell section is a forum where you can post stories under 500 words for appraisal by other writers and our editorial staff. Read through entries to draw inspiration from other young writers, rate your favourite stories, and leave comments and suggestions where appropriate. Each month the best story will be awarded a free subscription to BAD IDEA.
BUTCHER'S SHOP
Welcome to the Butcher's Shop, a tool for prospective contributors where the massacre that is BAD IDEA's editorial process is laid bare. At BAD IDEA we view editing as just as much a craft as writing - in fact they are one and the same activity in many respects.
