1. Why should I subscribe?

You’ll be directly supporting a publication you like, and saving yourself time tracking BAD IDEA down in the shops.

2. How long will it be before I receive my first issue?

If you’re starting your subscription with the current issue, please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery. If you start your subscription with the next issue, you’ll receive it as soon as it is published.

3. How many issues will I receive?

A year subscription to BAD IDEA consists of six consecutive issues, and a two year subscription consists of 12.

4. Why do I have to supply my email address?

We communicate with customers via email, so if you change your email, let us know. Please be assured that we will not give your email address to a third party under any circumstance.

5. How do I pay by credit card?

Our store allows you to pay orders by credit card via Paypal. Simply follow the instructions when making your order.

6. Can I pay by cheque?

Yes. However, if you prefer to pay by cheque, it is important you make the payment out to ‘Good Publishing Ltd.’ as if you make the cheque out to ‘BAD IDEA magazine’, or similar, your payment will not be accepted.

Customers from outside the UK can send an international money order. Again, international money orders need to be made out to ‘Good Publishing Ltd.’ to be accepted.

Send all cheques or international money orders to the following address:

BAD IDEA Subs. Dept.
Good Publishing Ltd.
Floor 4, Shacklewell Studios
18-24 Shacklewell Lane
London E8 2EZ

Customers should be aware that cheque orders generally take us longer to process, so a credit card payment is preferable.

7. When does my subscription start?

Subscriptions automatically start with the next issue. If you would like your subscription to start with the current issue, please write this in the comments box when ordering.

8. Can I start my subscription with an earlier issue?

You can only start your subscription with the current issue or the next issue.

9. Can I order back issues?

Back issues are available from our store.

10. How do I send gift subscriptions to another person or address?

At the online checkout, you’ll be given the option to supply a different name and delivery address for your gift recipient. If you wish, you can also supply a gift comment to be sent out with the first issue.

11. Why do EU and international subscriptions cost so much?

The £40 EU and £45 international rate for annual subscriptions reflects the high cost of international postage.

12. My mailing address has changed. How do I change my listed address or get in touch to ask a question about my subscription?

Please write to us at subs@badidea.co.uk with your new address or query, and we’ll respond to your enquiry as quickly as we can.

You must update us with your new address in good time before you move, as Good Publishing Ltd. cannot be held responsible for lost issues if you fail to inform us of your updated mailing address ahead of time; we cannot be expected to provide a proper subscription service if we do not have your current or correct address on file.

Please note also that we will not mail multiple copies of an issue for subscribers who neglect to provide an updated address in a timely manner.
