‘The Art of Confession’ DVD – A Repeat Screening at the Truman Brewery on August 21
Roll up, roll up, and come see our short film collaboration with Channel 4’s Fourdocs strand for one night only at Vibe Bar in Brick Lane, London. The occasion is the launch of ‘Five Missions More Live’, a soon to be regular showcase of highflying independent music acts, brought to you by the fine people at Five Missions More (a new music publishing company, should you be wondering).
Tom Simpson from Five Missions More describes the line up as; “A mix of live music, djs, art, film and more featuring live sets from the ridiculously young and energetic indie upstarts Flashguns (just signed to Rough Trade Records) and flute/mandolin wielding, vocalist and superb one-lady-folktronic show; Laura J Martin.”
So there you go. Tom will also be DJing, along with TM Juke and Russell Porter, and it costs a paltry pound to get in, so do come along if you’re in the area.
‘The Art of Confession’ films are great by the way, and include tales of phone lust in Weston Super Mare, a murder mystery in New York City, and the ugly face of British estate agency. Don’t worry if you missed the films at the V&A or can’t make it down to London for Five Missions More Live though, as I’ll be posting some of the best of them up here in due course.
